Introduction:
Part of the Med-Screen project, the "Arab Cinema Directory" was created with the support of the European Union, within the framework of the EUROMED audio-visual project. This website is an electronic directory of the Mediterranean Arab cinema and dedicated to people working in the field of cinema as well as cinema amateurs.
The "Arab Cinema Directory" website presents extensive information about the Mediterranean Arab films: feature, documentary, experimental, short and long. Also, in addition to that data base, the website provides an identity card for many books dealing with Arab Cinema, from the oldest to the most recent.
Each film is shown on an autonomous page dedicated to it and containing descriptive and technical information (production, synopsis, duration…)
Moreover, the "Arab Cinema Directory" allows you to:
1- Add information about new films.
2- Modify information about any film.
3- Send your films on video tapes to be added to the library of films at Beirut DC.
4- Make a booking to watch any film available in our library in Beirut DC.
The "Arab Cinema Directory" is a serious step to support and promote Arab - Mediterranean cinema, on account of the permanent information updates. The "Arab Cinema Directory" aspires to be a reference for all followers and fans of Arab cinema.
